Irving Young - React Founder It is with much sadness that we announce the death of our Founder, Irving Young, who passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday 26th June 2011.

A kind and generous man, it was Irving’s compassion for families caring for desperately ill children that led to the creation of React. Over the past 21 years, the charity he founded has responded to over 15,000 urgent requests and given depth to the short lives of many children across the UK.

Irving will be remembered through React’s work and through the many children who will continue to benefit from his vision that every child should have the comfort and dignity they deserve, however difficult their circumstance.
