Fundraising in the community – St Winefride’s Church, Kew

Over the Christmas period the wonderful parishioners of St Winefride's Catholic Church, Kew Gardens, undertook a major fundraising project in aid of React. Spearheaded by St Winefride's Charity Committee, the project involved a diverse array of events as well as generous personal donations, culminating in an incredible donation of over £14,000.

React trustee Jacky Sales accepted the donation on behalf of the charity, thanking Father Tom Scannel and St Winefride's parishioners for their generosity. She said that the "absolutely fantastic" amount raised was "beyond our wildest expectations" and applauded the initiatives taken to raise this sum.

A big thank you goes to Joan Rundle, Chair of St Winefride's Charity Committee, whose commitment and passion drove the whole project towards its amazing finale.
