The British 10K London Run 2009

React would like to say a big thank you to our fantastic supporters who took part in this year’s British 10k. With 42 participants proudly wearing React’s bright yellow t-shirts for the run, this was our biggest ever turnout for the event and current estimates show we are on course to raise over £6,000.

We would like to express our gratitude to all 42 of our runners and say a special thank you to our friends at Athena Medical PR who gathered together a team for the 3rd year running and to our oldest runner, 68 year old Mick Webster, who took part in the event for his 4th consecutive year.

Mick commented “This is the fourth time I’ve run The British 10k, the last three of which I ran with my granddaughter Rebecca. She works for React and when she tells us about some of the heartbreaking situations these families are in it makes you want to jump off the sofa and do something. I really enjoy taking part in the run and am so pleased I can raise money for React’s children at the same time. If I can do it so can you, please get in touch with React now to find out how you can support them.”

We would also like to thank everyone who sponsored our runners and those who supported and cheered them to the finish line.
